Notes

  1. ^ The soundcheck for this show included “Loser” and “Black-Throated Wind”, which were not included in this release.
  2. ^ The band’s relatively brief performance on April 21 was for the German TV show Beat-Club, and is contained on one CD.

“We’re rolling”

“Ladies and gentlemen, The Grateful Dead!”

I’m already liking this better than the last disc.

Interesting. About a minute in for Sugaree the piano played the wrong chords. Jerry picked up on it right away and restarted the song. The bass part is a masterclass into Phil Lesh’s style.

Playing in the Band II also restarts. I didn’t hear why. But this proves that they are human and that this is live music. It happens.

Second time through i heard the screeching feedback just before they stopped. Jerry told Bob to step back. From the mic, presumably. Or maybe there was a speaker behind him.

Truckin also features a restart. WTF!
