Solid jam in Truckin, I don’t mind most Drums tracks. I guess it was all of those years being enamored with the Buddy Rich Big Babs when I was an aspiring jazz trumpeter.
I think this was the first extended jam over The Other One that I’ve heard. About 1/4 of the way in it devolved to a free form jam, which isn’t my favorite format. Time to multitask!
At about 13 minutes in, the song is trying to restart. And it did. But didn’t last long before going back to Freeform.
This is only the second performance of Comes A Time on this tour. The first was 4/11/72.
