Sketchbook Revival is a worldwide online event organized by Karen Abend. This year’s event was 11 days, with each day featuring tutorials by 3 instructors, all designed to help us find inspiring projects for our sketchbooks. Each tutorial averaged about 30 minutes to watch, and I estimate that I spent 15-30 minutes on the project for each tutorial. Most days I only did one of the projects, although I did two of them on one of the days.
There is no charge for the event, although there is a membership tier that can be purchased that gives access to the tutorials for a much longer time than only during the event.
The purpose is to try new techniques, art media, or subjects. Here’s what I came up with.
